Our Mission

In this Church, Jesus is central; we love, reach and teach people to help them become more like Him.

We Value – Fellowship

We believe that the Christian life and growth in spiritual maturity, takes place within the context of a loving, caring, praying, supportive fellowship.
We believe that fellowship with God and with other believers is critical to our growth and survival as Christians.
“They devoted themselves to the apostle’s teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.” Acts 2: 42
“We proclaim to you what we have seen and heard, so that you also may have fellowship with us. And our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ.” 1 John 1: 3

Aim

We aim to promote a deepening commitment to the local church fellowship to which we belong.
We aim to encourage all Christians to actively seek true fellowship.
We aim to model the “one another” passages of Scripture.

  •  Love one another – John 13: 34 – 35
  •  Serve one another – Galatians 5: 13
  •  Bear one another’s burdens – Galatians 6: 2
  •  Forgive one another – Ephesians 4: 31 – 32
  •  Confess our sins to one another – James 5: 16
  •  Instruct one another – Romans 15: 14
  •  Comfort one another – 1 Thessalonians 4: 18

Objectives

Provide a nurturing, encouraging community in which to grow and mature by: –

  •  Encourage the development of current Home Groups as places to study the Bible, share concerns, pray together and support one another.
  •  Facilitate opportunities to serve one another through special projects e.g. practical help for the sick and elderly.
  •  Share annually in a communal congregational meal.
  •  Further encourage and train the Welcome Team.
  •  Ensure this ministry is working towards the vision of the church.
